JohnenPrivat is a collection of postwar contemporary art and sculptural ceramics. It includes works by the Johnen Gallery’s artists along with works from other contexts since 1950. The ROOM space generally features thematic exhibitions, while the ROOF space mostly presents solo shows. JohnenPrivat offers an inside look at a very personal collection, whose charm is further enhanced by the combination of a white-cube venue with the heritage-listed attic space of a small building from 1837.
